The tailoring craftsmanship is now rooted in the 4th generation in our family.
Even the great-grandmother supported her 4 children with her tailoring, back then at the kitchen table.
My grandfather's workshop was a bit bigger by then. Countless apprentices and masters, including Doris Müller, have been trained by him since 1952.
"Growing up on the tailor's table" naturally my mother also chose this path, took over the business as a men's tailor in 2002 and mainly made bespoke suits.
Today she brings this experience in pattern construction, handicraft and the right eye for dimensions and proportions to the team at corsets & more.
Therefore, a passion for tailoring has been with me all my life and so it is not surprising that I also trained in bespoke tailoring.
A subsequent degree in textile technology brought me away from the craft professionally until Doris brought the idea of continuing her business to us.
Interest in the manufacture of corsets was quickly aroused: to be able to manufacture an intimate piece of clothing as interesting and complex as our customers are, is a trusting and challenging task that we were happy to take on.
